if you are starting to feel fireworks withdrawal, the good news is that you won’t have to wait another year – july is a month full of exciting fireworks around the world. the united states celebrates independence day on 4 july -  one of my favorite and most spectacular is the event held in boston. the boston pops perform tchaikovsky’s 1812 ouverture at the hatchshell on the esplanade on the charles river followed by a 30-minute fireworks display at 10.30 pm.  not long after that, on 14 july, france celebrates bastille day, with another spectacular display in paris at the eiffel tower and trocadero – arrive early and secure a spot on pont d’iena, the bridge that crosses the seine river between the eiffel tower and trocadero. fireworks start at 10.30pm.  next fireworks stop – tokyo. but you already know about this one, if you read my post 2 days ago.
